How to warm up the toy
Bed warmer - cuddly toy
1) Take the heating pad (cherry pit pillow) out of the toy.
2) Put it with a 1/2 glass of water* in a microwave and heat it for 1-2 min in 600W.
* water prevents cherry pits from over-drying and the heating pad will last longer.
3) Put the heated pad into the toy, the heat lasts for about ~30 minutes.
WARNING! Always follow the instructions! Always test on your skin for about 10 seconds, if it is not too hot before giving it to a child! Use with adult supervision only.
Alternative for microwave:
- the heating pad can be heated in an oven. Wrap the pad in a clean cotton dish towel and place the pad on a heat-resistant glass or porcelain dish for 5-7 min (100° C / 200 °F). Insert the pad only when the oven has warmed up to (100° C / 200°F). Do not exceed 5-7 minutes in total
heating time.
- or wrap in a cotton dish towel and place in a dry, clean cooking pot or crockpot. Heat on a cooktop on a low setting
- or place on a radiator (at least 10 min. for each side).
Microwaves and ovens may vary in their power output and age, therefore the heating time may differ slightly from the time indicated in the instruction. The heating time specified in the instruction has been tested based on the capacity of the brand-new equipment.
Good to know – in case of fever or trauma you can put a cherry pit pillow in a freezer and you have a convenient, comfortable cold pack.
The toy is machine washable (~30°C) removing the cherry pit pad before washing. Cherry pit pad, hand wash only.
Anti-colic heating pad
1) Put the heating pad with a 1/2 glass of water* in a microwave and heat it for 1-2 minutes at 600W.
* water prevents grape seeds from drying and the pad will last longer.
2) Place the warm pad on a baby’s tummy. The pad stays warm for about ~30 minutes.
WARNING! Always follow the instructions! Before putting the heating pad on a baby’s tummy, always test on your skin - place the pad on the inside of your forearm for 10 seconds to make sure, it is not too hot! Prolonged use of a heating pad that is overly hot without a barrier on the skin, can cause contact burns. Always place the heating pad over a singlet or a jumpsuit. Use with adult supervision only.
Alternative for microwave:
- the pad can be heated in an oven. Wrap the pad in a clean cotton dish towel and place the pad on a heat-resistant glass or porcelain dish for 5 min (100° C / 200 °F). Insert the pad only when the oven has warmed up to (100° C / 200 °F). Do not exceed 5 minutes total heating time.
- or wrap in a cotton dish towel and place in a dry, clean cooking pot or crockpot. Heat on a cooktop on a low setting.
- or place on a radiator (at least 10 min. for each side).
Each time you heat the pad in a microwave or an oven, it sterilizes the fabric. There is no need to regularly wash the pad. If you do, hand wash only.
